I am female.
I love kids.
I graduated from the University of Melbourne in Melbourne, Australia.
I was a docent at the National Museum of Singapore.
I was a volunteer at Melbourne Museum.
I love to dream and plan my future. Not the insane I-WANT-TO-RULE-THE-WORLD kind of dreams, but the I-want-to-travel-and-marry-the-perfect-guy (whom I’ve found. no really.) for me.
I know my goals in life and how I am going to achieve them.
I am passionate about
Educating kids. My goal in life is to leave positive impressions on children, to open their eyes to the amazing things in our world.
Exercise. Namely, pilates and running. More sports to come.
Sustainable living and ensuring that the Earth is kept as healthy as possible for future generations to come. I adore the great outdoors and marvel at the wonders of nature. As such, I have decided to try and change the way I eat and be as eco-friendly as possible.
Information technology (IT). This runs the gamut of cutting-edge technology to web standards, design and interactive media. It is rather hard to pin down exactly what about IT that I like. I do not consider myself an IT geek, nor an expert. I simply enjoy, revel and delight in them. I hope to be able to be a bridge (albeit a mini one) between IT and education. I seek to harness the functionalities of IT to increase the possibilities of enhancing education with an increasingly IT-savvy younger population.
Travelling. I can travel the world with in mere mouse clicks with the Internet. But words and images do not convey the sounds and smells of the various countries. I plan to travel around the world. Bit by bit.
Photography. With my love of travel, I hope to capture amazing photos that will serve as memories of the places that i travel to.
So why start a blog?
I created this blog for my friends to keep track of what I am up to and how I have been doing. I also use the blog as a means to store memories (good and bad), recommend stuff and rant. My blog is mostly filled with mush, honey and fluff as I am in an amazing relationship. I might sound all ditzy, bimbotic and entirely irrational, but I assure you love makes you do the most insane things. Honestly. What I type might not give you a full picture of myself. I think, feel, live and breathe so so so much more than I can ever blog, but since you’re reading this blog, I assume you might be somewhat interested in understanding more.
Feel free to comment on any post in my blog. I try not to password protect anything in my blog, as I believe that should one decide to publish a blog, it is an expression of free speech and a chance to publicly express one’s opinions. By sharing with you my thoughts (mostly drivel) and opinions, I hope that they encourage you to share with me yours and perhaps I can make a few friends in the process. I have already met a few great friends online!

Hi Ruiqing,
I’m contacting you from i-student life, an online resource for high school students interested in studying abroad. This summer we are launching a brand new website and I would love to feature you in some way, perhaps you could write a short article about your experiences in Australia. Email me for more details, and keep up the great blog!
